Hi Jae, great site!!!!! I think I’ll pop a link on our shelter website as I’d like ALL our rehabs to go to BTB homes (dreams are free..). Have also got your URL on my favourites list. Can’t wait til your next shipment of saddles – although I’m tossing up between the “undercover” or the “Jive”. I like the contemporary shape of the Jive but only really ride English to jump (I’m predominantly a western rider). Hmmm.. I’ve got a wee while, may get to maybe buy both.
We’ve tried Nigel’s saddle on 3 other horses all different breeds and shape and it has fit all of them. Even Vinnie, the ex-rescue and all his muscle wastage (his body ate all his muscle to keep him alive before his rescue – which has had to be built up over the last year or so), is ridden comfortably in it (with the treeless pad & a raiser pad) at least once a week for a 13yo’s riding lesson. It fits Maximum the best ANY English saddle has. And it fits my daughters boy who has had big issues with saddles in the past (I had the 14″ Jive on my tm w/list for him, then missed it – doh!). Nevermind, he is happy in the little treed saddle he gets ridden in currently.
Anyway, lots of good words in this neck of the woods about The Dancing Horse. Looking forward to seeing different styles of bitless bridles too.
